The examples provided of “antisemitic tropes” featuring George Soros are tenuous at best. Similar criticisms of a billionaire-imposed worldview are made of Musk. Are they “antisemitic tropes”?

I would say yes. George Soros has usurped the Rothschild as the primary antisemitic dog whistle. Plausible deniability is a huge part of antisemitism. That’s why we call them dog whistles, the people who they speaking to can hear it.

And the reason people single out Jews is because capitalism is a dysfunctional system that needs to be replaced, but antisemites do not want to do that, so they say people like George Soros are the wrenches in the cogs with inscrutable ulterior motives that need to be stopped. And they’re a convenient scapegoat even when your culture does not have a history of antisemitism

We’re talking about Soros and not Musk because he’s being singled out by the BJP. He’s being singled out by the BJP because he is the focus of a global antisemitic conspiracy theory.

Soros is above criticism, apparently.

I’m certainly not suggesting that!
