I think his affordable housing policy is absolutely spot on.

It would be nice to aim higher (two or three even?) but I guess sometimes you gotta be realistic

A party named "Die Partei" (The Party) regularly runs for office in Germany. It has even made it into the European Parliament. Die Partei was founded by staff members of the satirical magazine *Titanic*.

Martin Sonneborn, the leader (and erstwhile publisher of *Titanic*) and the party's MEP, wrote a couple of excellent books on how the sausage gets made in Brussels. I wonder if they're available in English translation.

Never forget "the Monster Raving Loony Party"!

The kind of apolitical nature of this humour also means that the far-right Restore voters, who think Reform are too moderate, are as likely to vote Binface as the Greens. My favorite one of these was 'Mr Fishfinger' running against hapless Lib Dem leader Tim Farron in the generally glorious 2017 election.

Pretty good analysis of the power a satirist has in identifying the absurdities of modern British politics-
